Beyond the Wet Lab Bottleneck: The Race to Build Biology’s Generative Engine
Cambridge, MA – MIT Media Lab – EmTech Future. Nature has spent roughly 3.8 billion years conducting the most sprawling, creative research and development campaign in history. Evolution engineered millions of functional molecular machines, intricate cellular networks, and robust organisms long before humans ever conceptualized a microscope. Yet, Flagship Labs, President Avak Kahvejian took the…

We Have Godlike Tech, But Our Brains Are Still in the Stone Age with Steven Kotler
Now, if you’ve been following this channel for a while, you know I’ve been screaming into the digital ether about the exponential technology curve since 2015. Back then, I was basically a proud, card-carrying disciple of Dr. Peter Diamandis, looking at the early days of AI, blockchain, and tech-convergence and telling everyone who would listen: ‘The…

Architecting Life: Authoring the Future of Species with Dr. Adrian Woolfson
Many moons ago, in 2015 I began my talks/presentations and writings about exponential technology and how this could lead to a world of abundance. Examples I once referenced included devices with which you could communicate with dogs and whales, saving data to DNA, namely tree DNA; living to 125 and using lab grown organs like…
