The Media Director will be responsible for building, leading, and scaling a portfolio of media verticals, beginning with JosephRaczynski.com. The focus will be on news, PR, content, podcasts, SM, and full KOL work. These are operational, and there will be a focus for development and launch of a third vertical (TBD) early in 2026. This is a senior-level leadership position that requires expertise in content development, editorial management, team recruitment, and strategic growth within the media industry.

The Media Director will oversee all aspects of content production, audience engagement, and operational strategy for the media platforms under their leadership. They will work closely with reporters, editors, videographers, and technologists to ensure the highest standards of journalism and multimedia production.

Position Scope and Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement a vision and operational strategy for multiple media verticals.
  • Drive audience growth, engagement, and monetization strategies.
  • Establish and enforce editorial standards and content guidelines.
  • Develop forward looking media elements such as podcasts, app creation, text outreach, etc.

Content Management & Editorial Oversight

  • Oversee content development across digital, video, and emerging media platforms.
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and high journalistic standards in all published work.
  • Innovate and adapt content strategies to optimize reach and impact.
  • Create SEO supported headlines to promote market reach
  • Expand creative use of video and technology to tell stories powerfully.

Team Building & Management

  • Recruit, screen, and manage a diverse team of reporters, editors, videographers, and digital content creators.
  • Establish a high-performance culture with goals, accountability, and professional development.
  • Manage relationships with freelancers and external contributors as needed.

Operational Execution & Innovation

  • Develop workflows and operational systems for efficient content production.
  • Oversee digital infrastructure, including website management, publishing tools, and analytics.
  • Explore new media formats, partnerships, and distribution channels.

Stakeholder & Industry Engagement

  • Build and maintain relationships with key industry leaders, policy experts, and partners.
  • Represent the media verticals at relevant industry events and public forums.
  • Stay informed about trends in media, policy, and technology to ensure platforms remain
  • competitive and influential.

Required Skills and Experience

Proven experience in media leadership, content strategy, and editorial management.  Strong background in journalism, digital media, or multimedia content production. Demonstrated ability to recruit, manage, and mentor a team of media professionals. Expertise in digital media platforms, audience development, and content distribution. Ability to balance editorial integrity with business and growth objectives. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives. Knowledge of video production, SEO, analytics, and media monetization strategies. Experience managing media platforms focused on technology and emerging tech.

Working Conditions

The Media Director is a full-time, remote position. The role requires at least monthly presence in headquarters offices for team meetings, strategic planning, and coordination. The work environment is dynamic, requiring a mix of strategic oversight, hands-on content management, and industry engagement.

Due to the nature of media operations, the position may require occasional travel, evening, orweekend work to cover breaking news, industry events, or major content releases.

Position Summary

We are seeking an innovative and technically adept Agentic AI Engineer to spearhead the development and deployment of next-generation agentic AI systems. This role is pivotal in transitioning from traditional AI models to dynamic, autonomous agents capable of reasoning, tool integration, and multi-step problem-solving.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AI design patterns, including structured outputs, function calling, and intelligent workflow orchestration. The candidate will be responsible for architecting scalable infrastructures that support high-throughput, low-latency operations, enabling the deployment of numerous models with minimal resource footprints. This position is crucial in moving AI initiatives from prototypes to operational systems that deliver measurable business outcomes while upholding performance and ethical standards.

Essential Job Functions

Consultation

  • Engage with stakeholders – internal and external – to identify opportunities where agentic AI can drive value.
  • Translate complex requirements into technical specifications for AI solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on the potential of agentic AI to enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define success metrics, ensuring AI solutions align with organizational goals and compliance standards.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on agentic AI capabilities and best practices.

System Design

  • Architect agentic AI systems leveraging design patterns like structured outputs, function calling, and intelligent workflow orchestration.
  • Design scalable infrastructures capable of supporting high-performance AI operations.
  • Develop frameworks for integrating multiple AI models and tools seamlessly.
  • Ensure system designs prioritize security, compliance, and ethical considerations.

System Development and Implementation

  • Lead the development of agentic AI solutions from concept to deployment.
  • Implement robust testing protocols to ensure system reliability and accuracy.

  • Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and resource efficiency.

Deployment and Continuous Monitoring

  • Oversee the deployment of agentic AI systems across environments, ensuring stability and performance at scale.

Qualifications and Competencies

Required Education & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in AI system development, with at least six months focusing on agentic AI architectures.
  • Proven track record of deploying AI solutions in production environments.
  • Experience with cross-functional teams, collaborating with stakeholders from diverse departments.
  • Continuous learning mindset, staying updated with the latest advancements in AI technologies.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in modern programming languages for agentic AI engineering. (Python, Mojo, Rust, Go, Julia, and TypeScript are preferred.)
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques.
  • Knowledge of agentic AI systems, including autonomous agents, multi-agent systems, and decision-making processes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms for deploying AI solutions. We use AWS.
  • Understanding of data structures and algorithms, ensuring efficient and optimized AI system performance.
